Richard Carruthers
Richard comes from Harrow and attended Greenford County Grammar School. He spent the first twelve years of his working life with an independent self-drive car and van hire company with mechanical, body repairs and MOT testing facilities. In 1982 he made the move into car sales and then swiftly moved up the management ladder. After many years in sales and general sales management positions with Volkswagen. Richard moved to Renault in 1997 sales managing the highest volume independent Renault site in the UK. From here he progressed to general manager of a North London Vauxhall dealership. Late in 2007 he and Jon decided to join forces, Auto-Selection Ltd is the result. Richard lives in Hemel Hempstead with his wife, young family and their dog named Suzy...AH ! He is a keen guitarist and has played with several bands.

Jon Heal
Jon was born and raised in Buckinghamshire. His first taste of the motor trade came through a local parts operation in Chesham. He gave it all up in 1990, and spent a year travelling the world. On his return he moved into car sales. After two years he was promoted to Sales Manager and then swiftly on to General Sales Management of the most successful Fiat dealer in the country. His career has taken him into Vauxhall, Ford and Renault franchises. In 2005 Jon joined The Jobshop Ltd and started his career in recruitment. He quickly discovered a niche in the motor trade market and started recruiting for the trade. From this moment things took off. With his years of experience he soon discovered that dealers preferred to use an agency that talked their language and understood their needs when selecting and recommending staff. 2008 saw Jon and Richard forming Auto-Selection Ltd. A specialist recruitment agency for the motor trade. The story continues..............
